You may only need to set up your payments and Standing Orders service once and, if you keep the account topped up with money, you need never miss a payment again. So you’ll avoid late fees and protect your credit history at the same time.
Any payment of the same amount each month can be paid using your Cashplus Account. You can also just make a one-off payment, such as renewing your TV Licence or paying your Council Tax, all in one go.

Once you have your Cashplus card, simply visit the Members’ Area to register and set up your payments.
Please note that any payments made for goods or services via online banking in the Members’ Area are not covered by Purchase Protection. To obtain this protection, please make the payment using your Cashplus card instead.

Electronic payments are ideal if you don’t always remember to pay your bills on time or if you don’t want to carry around lots of cash and then wait in long queues to pay your bills.
To make electronic transfers, you’ll need to have Total Access with your Cashplus Account, which means that we’ll need to confirm your identity.
And remember – to keep your account topped up with enough money to cover the cost of your payments.
We can make up to 20 payments for you each month for free, if there’s enough money in your account, and so long as they are:
A request to set up a payment must be made by at least one business day before the payment is due (for example, if you’d like to make your payment on Thursday 5th of a month, you need to make your request no later than 12pm of Wednesday 4th of that month – we’ll confirm the date your payment will be made when you set it up). You can set up payments 24/7, 7 days a week via the Members’ Area.
You can arrange up to 20 payments to be made each month for FREE on most of our tariffs. Please refer to your terms and conditions for more information.
We’ll send you a message either by email or via the Members’ Area, depending on the method you chose for us to stay in touch when you registered.
If your payment details are incorrect please amend in the Members’ Area no later than the business day before the money is due to leave your account.
Once money has been deducted from your account, a payment can’t be cancelled.
Please make sure you have enough money in your account on the business day the payment is due. This is so that we can deduct the money to process your payment on time.
If we can’t make a payment as there is not enough money in your account on that day we can’t try again in that month on another day, but we’ll try again on the next scheduled date.
If more than one payment is to be made on the same day and there is not enough money to make all the payments, we’ll try to make the payment with the highest value first. We’ll make as many payments as possible with the money you have available. Please check the Members’ Area to see which payments have been made.
We can only send payments on a business day (Monday-Friday) so if your payment date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be sent the next business day. (For example, if your payment date is normally the 5th and the 5th is a Sunday, it’ll be sent on Monday 6th.)
If we make a payment based on incorrect details you provided, you’ll need to resolve the issue with the person who received the payment. This means we’ll be unable to assist you with retrieving payments created by you to the wrong payee.

Yes, of course, but you should change or cancel the Standing Order no later than the business day the money is due to leave your account.
You can cancel payments but you need to cancel no later than 12pm on the business day the money is due to leave your account. After this time the payment’s taken and we can’t stop or reclaim the payment for you.
