Activate your Cashplus card and get your PIN
Protecting your personal details and your money is a top priority to us, so we need to make sure your account and Cashplus prepaid Gold MasterCard® are totally secure.
That’s why your Cashplus prepaid card needs to be activated before you can use it. It’s only a matter of minutes before your card is activated.
You will need your card and your eight digit security code to hand. If you can’t remember your eight digit security code, just visit the Members’ Area and click on ‘Forgotten Security Code’. Have your card to hand and enter the details requested. We’ll then email you a reminder.
Activate your card and get your PIN by phone
- Call 0871 277 5599
- Choose option 2 and then option 1
- Enter your 16 digit card number and your eight digit security code If you can’t remember your eight digit security code, visit the Members’ Area and click on ‘Forgotten Security Code’. Have your card to hand and enter the details requested. We’ll then email you a reminder.
- You can now obtain your PIN by choosing option 2
Calls made to 0871 numbers are charged at 10 pence per minute from a BT landline and may be recorded. Calls from other networks may vary. If calling from abroad calls will be charged at the international rate set by that country.
Activate your card online
It’s simple to do and it’s free, here’s how:
- Register for the Members Area
- Login to your Members account and select the activate card screen
- Enter your 16 digit card number and your eight digit security code
- To get your PIN, please see ‘Obtain your PIN’ below

Once you’ve activated your card, simply retrieve your PIN by following these easy steps:

Select option 3, then option 4
Your Cashplus prepaid card is now ready to top up and use.
